How to know if an aid station allows assistance?
Easy! Check the race profile on the page dedicated to your race—aid stations where assistance is allowed are marked with a dotted line.
Find out about the authorized assistance stations on each race page:

Assistance is not allowed on the 20K.
Self-sufficiency (assitance non authorized)
These aid stations are waypoints for your runner, where they will find something to hydrate and eat (among other things) but will not be allowed to receive external assistance.
At these points, you won't find any facilities for your comfort while following the race (shelter, hot spot, food, or other. This doesn't stop you from coming to cheer them on!

For your safety and the smooth running of the race, please do not try do access these points.
The regulation
If you want to provide the best possible experience for your runner, it's essential that you familiarize yourself with the rules regarding support. They play a crucial role in the smooth running of the race. By reading them carefully, you'll be informed of all the guidelines regarding your support, aid stations, and authorized service areas. This will allow you to support your runner while respecting the rules.
We invite you to review the sections of the regulations that detail the actions you, as a supporter, can take to assist your runner. The "Semi-autonomy" section specifies what your runner can expect from outside assistance and the authorized assistance zones. Finally, the "Penalties and Disqualification" page informs you of actions that could result in a time penalty or direct disqualification. Come discover the regulations and enjoy your adventure at the Nice Côte d'Azur by UTMB.
