Ultra Trail Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur - 100M

A mythical distance, the 100M sets off from Auron and climbs to its highest point above 2,650 metres at Rabuons — a landscape of stark, mineral beauty. The route then heads towards Colle Longue, skirting the Italian Piedmont before plunging into a remote, technical descent crafted for those who thrive in wide-open wilderness.

The course continues through chestnut forests and across the shimmering Tinée before the Mercantour massif opens up,leading to a high ridge traverse above 2,000 metres. From here, the trail swings south, gradually transitioning into more Mediterranean terrain where the light softens and the air grows warmer.

The closing kilometres take runners over the four hills of Leuze, Vinaigrier, Alban and Boron — a final test before the landscape suddenly opens onto the sea. From there, you follow the coastline towards your finish on the legendary Promenade des Anglais.
