The discovery of Nice County
From the mountains and their beautiful forests to the typical scrubland of the Nice hinterland and the shining waters of the Mediterranean sea, the variety of landscapes in this 109km and 5400 m+ route will leave you with unforgettable memories. Roubion - a small village built on the side of a cliff in the south of the Mercantour National Park - will be the starting point. After the first few kilometers on the Vignols track, you will reach the 100-mile course where the ridges located between the Tinée and Vésubie valleys which offer a superb view of the Alps and the main Mercantour peaks. After passing the 4 mounts, you will then plunge southwards towards the Mediterranean Sea, which you will follow before celebrating your arrival at the Promenade des Anglais.
